Sep. 20, 2021
COVID-19 Information
The Government of Alberta has declared a state of public health emergency, and starting Sept. 20 will adopt a Restriction Exemption Program.
The City of Leduc will participate in the program and visitors (aged 12 years and older) will be required to provide proof of vaccination, medical exemption or a negative PCR or rapid test (privately-paid, completed within the last 72 hours) when visiting the following facilities:
What does this mean when accessing the Leduc Recreation Centre:
You will be greeted at the entrance where a Rec Check Table will be set up.
Please be prepared to provide proof of vaccination, medical exemption or a negative PCR/rapid test that has been privately paid for within the last 72 hours.
Once past the Rec Check Table, guests will be free to move about the facility as per usual. Face masks are still required for all visitors whether they are vaccinated or not.
During the initial stages of the program, please plan to arrive a little earlier than normal. We ask for patience as City employees review patrons’ individual paperwork at the door.
